how beautiful is this veil! we're in love with delicately embroidered veils paired with a simple, chic gown or unexpectedly over a cocktail length dress

we're coveting velentino couture and embellishment of unimaginable detail, after getting lost in sofia sanchez barrencechea's lavish wedding in the wilds of patagonia!

taking cues from some of the most ethereal, daringly beautiful gowns to grace runways over the last decade, both in the realms of haute couture and RTW collections, we're revisiting some iconic favourites and coveting new ones, inspired by translucent gowns of pale tints and sheer lengths

long allured by a rustic wedding, all time worn and beautifully nostalgic moody skies and earthy tones, natural surrounds and nonchalant celebrations

framed in darkness, a story partially revealed, ethereal figures emerging from the shadows, backlit, softly cloaked in inky light or strikingly spotlit to dramatic effect, we're looking at the hauntingly beautiful night portraits of fashion photography and the world of fine art, as inspiration for moodily lit wedding pictures

sometimes it's a mood that captivates, others its couple, a dress or even a location. sometimes, magically when all things align, it's the entire story... against a backdrop of golden skies, majestic horizons and spring light.  all languid feasts of fine food and wines under a beautiful marquee.
